Xbox360 Cant Detect My Files

I have my xbox360 connected to my pc via an eathernet cable and for some reason my 360 cant detect my videos or my music. before i was able to playback the videos on my 360 but for some reason it stopped detecting the files even the ones that it used to see. the only thing it actually detects are pictures but the my videos folder and music folder is emty when i try to open it on my 360 (even though they are really full on my pc) all of my files are converted to WMV and WMA
So there is someting weird happing here because before i didnt have this problem
My pc's OS is Windows Media Center 2005
