Hi there,
I got my XSATA today and I wanted to dump some data from my disc. While it worked really well on small files like dashboard backgrounds, I nearly wait forever until a video is exported from a file from harddisk.
To point out, I am trying to export a South Park episode in HD from the harddisk.. backing up the harddisk and transferring the file via XPlorer360 worked perfectly;
just now.. my notebook is extracting extracting extracting on the south park episode... X360Tool has now been unpacking for more than 2 hours in "Real time" priority ode, and I just see 3 "extraction stripes" and it uses 250 MB of memory.. and the unpacked file is still 0 Byte (I assume it writes it when it's finished).
Is my notebook too slow for that purpose (AMD Turion64 with 1.8 GHz, 1024 MB RAM, WinXP) or is that the regular X360 Tool speed.. is there a faster alternative (yes, I googled).. or do I have no choice but to wait (and probably leave the notebook switched on until tomorrow).
Thanks,
