Thanks guys for the explanation posts.  I don't have an issue with Xbox1 titles since my system has the HDD etc.

Anyhow, to the guys having problems with Homecourt, once installed the new version had no hiccups at all.  Yes upon first read it is still 5.32 but once you hit start it fixes that and makes it 7.05 by the time it is done.

Make sure you completely uninstall the previous version.

Hope this helps.

General note:

Turn off the "FW Branding Check" on the options tab unless you need it. (A hitachi branded as samsung and vis versa) I meant for it to be disabled by default but it slipped out turned on... smile.gif

Just finished backing up Fuzion Frenzy 2

-Read with sh-d162c (USB enclosure)
-Burned on verbatim with Pioneer 111d (IDE) using xbc engine, burn speed set to max
-Plays perfectly on Hitachi (2.1 firmware)

As always, a great job redline99...

Well, just burned my first coaster with XBC 2.4  I was backing up King Kong- it seemed to extract the image with my Kreon drive fine...  noticed that when it was done, there was no .dvd file in the save directory like with 2.3?  I didn't trust Imgburn without the layout file, so I used 2.4 to burn with Imgburn, selecting 360 as the image type- finished burning, no problem.  I checked the stealth of the iso and it came back with an error, saying something about video files not standard or something...  Tried the disk in my 360 with firmware 5.2C- no go- doesn't recognize the disk.  So- do I have to manually extract the video files myself with the new video files button, under tools (I think)?  I clicked on complete backup, doesn't it work the same as 2.3?- never had a problem with 2.3 in 6 burns.  Didn't see anything in the readme about a different process...  New to this, is it the King Kong game itself (like Star Trek.. didn't find anything like that yet)

I was using v2.0 with not much problems.
Have now installed v2.4 and am having lots of problems.
No matter what game I am trying to back up I get a error "Unable to determine current visible partition" and then a "read fail".
Can anyone help me with this?
Cheers.

Great work!!! works perfect for me on the 'newer' games that have been having issues...

i suggest to anyone having problems that they totally uninstall and reinstall, works like a charm!

thanks xbox-scene, redline and soso....

hi all, just dropping a note of what i did so far from ver 2.0 till now ver 2.4.  i downloaded xbc from the usual places and i unzipped it to a folder.  i never used the installer, i just copied the smaller sized application file to my desktop (win xp) and run from there.  so far no problems.  cheers!
