Burning In Vista Issue?

I started to make backups of my games a few weeks ago when I had xp installed. I had 2 successfully done, Gears of War & Call of Duty 3. These were all done with xp and clone cd or imgburn, my burner is a pioneer 111d and I also have an Lg which I didn't use to burn.  Anyways now I have installed vista and I can successfully burn the games in clone cd but they play inconsistenly in my xbox360. For example I will put in a game with the dashboard up and it will say un playable disc. And then if I eject and close the tray, it plays sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Its starting to piss me off.

btw I tried several types of discs. Same thing happens.

has anyone else had this problem? or can someone point me in the direction of a really good burning tutorial.

I for one have the same issue as the original poster... burning with clonecd under windows vista ultimate with a benq 1640 and good verbatums burns ok but is unplayable... tested multiple times, and i always get the disc is unreadable clean with soft cloth message.. going to try imgburn and see if that sorts me out.

I have the same issue.

I am dual booting Vista Ultimate and XP Pro. I ripped several backups using Xbox backup creator in XP. When I burn those same backups in XP, they play perfectly. If I boot into Vista, I burn using the same image file, media, settings and drive, the backups will be flaky at best. Usually I will get either "Unplayable Disc" Or "Dirty Disc Error".

My Setup:
Pioneer 111D
Verbatim DL
[email protected]
3GB Ram

I cannot determine the problem, but on 2 different pcs, both running Vista Ultimate, the backups will finish, but be unplayable. In XP, I have no issues at all. If anyone has had this problem, and figured out a solution, that would be awesome, just so i can stop booting into XP.
