Couple Mac Os X Questions

hello

hope some of you kind people can help

just waiting on delivery of my new xbox 360 but have a couple of questions.

1) I dont have wireless. what options do i have for transfering mp3 & video from my mac to my 360 hard drive?
2) what format of videos play - divx, avi, mpg, mov?

any other tips or advice would be apprieciated

theres a mac program called 360Connect that streams music, videos and photos from your mac to your xbox 360. the trial version only streams up to 100 of each though

Im not sure about your second question

connect360 lets you share your entire iTunes library with the 360 (With the paid version anyways). As for videos, it supports the streaming of WMV + WMA videos ONLY for the time being.

could i for example put video files onto cd then copy them over to the harddrive to watch?

AFAIK you cant copy video files from cd to the hard drive.
