360, Wmp11 And Vista

I'm having lot's of problems with media sharing, sometimes it works great, but sometimes the 360 "loses" the connection to the PC and i cant make it go back, i ave media sharing on, the WMP11 "see's" the 360, but the 360 wont open the shared files.

Use media center then?, as I have Vista ultimate
