Okay so i set up everything now, my Xbox360 and my computer with Windows XP Media Center Edition with VLC360 and Transcode360 (for trying what's best and stuff)

Some movies, i ain't able to fast forward/rewind in when using either VLC or transcode, why? Can it be helped?

Some movies are easily stretched when playing from my computer, but when i play them through transcode360/VLC360 then they are shown in 4:3 which looks like s*** on my HDTV. Is there anyway to have them stretched? My TV is a Samsung R7.

Why does friend/message notifications appear when i turned them off when watching movies. They don't appear on DVD's but they do in MCE movies. Why?

I don't know why this happens but it does it to me as well.  When im watching porn err I mean video clips, I cant fast forward because it rewinds....... <<<strange
