Problems Burning Splinter Cell Double Agent

Im using WxRipper to extract an iso file for my Splinter Cell double agent game, then i find the Security Sector online and merge it to the iso using SSMerger 1.4, then i burn the .dvd file with CloneCD onto a Memorex Dual layered dvd+r DL using a Pioneer 111D DVD burner.

The image is confirmed correct by SSMerger and when i attempt to burn the .dvd file using CloneCD it tries for 24 seconds then says: (Writing to PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-111D failed!) and it writes absolutely nothing to the disc.

What the heck is going on and what should i do?

Sorry....that is considered to be downloading copyrighted code....and cannot be talked about here.  Please read the rules before posting next time.
