Yes, but AFAIK it does so by forcing a transcode on you, which inevitably means quality loss and inability to play HD content.

Is there any solution that could allow simply overlaying subtitles? After all, that's exactly what VobSub does and there should be a chance to re-create something similar as a MCE plug-in.

Anybody knowledgeable enough to answer?
