Having the PFI and the DMI there will not hurt anything if they are there.  If they are not there and you don't want to see the warning then just turn off stealth check on the options tab.

SPTI or ASPI... doesn't matter most of the time.

If one mode doesn't work for what ever reason, thry the other.  SPTI is the default.

Hey

Did someone find a fix for the "The semaphore timeout period has expired." error?  The program was working perfectly (Win xp 64 installed) then I decided to reinstall my OS (now using Win xp pro not 64) and it's not working anymore...  I also used schtrom 2.1 but they both stop at the SS detection. I installed ASPI (nero version), in the same folder as XBC.

EDIT : Forgot to mention that I use a shd-162c

Thx

dream21 - in theory that should be good.  If you make a backup using the normal method (not my app) does it work then? Or you can aslo try Schtrom360Xtract, see how it goes.

wak4 - than is a known problem and is still being worked on smile.gif  Like you said, It seems to be related to driver or OS, as the problem occurs with multiple apps.  Is your drive in an external case? That seems to make it worse.

No, it is internal.  I am currently trying to update my system with the newest MS update.  If it doesn't work... I might try to reinstall x64...

perfect all-in-one-click solution!!!!!!!! cool.gif
Kreons firmware (thank you VERY much too, kreon  biggrin.gif   ) also worked!!!!!
(burner is nec 3550)

One question though regarding backed up games..
Are the copies supposed to be reproduced the same way as originals?

THANK YOU ""ALL"" FOR YOUR WORK and ms for this cool console, which made me stop waiting ps3,
after such a progress took place in the 360 scene!

Please excuse this extreme newbie question, I have been doing xbox mods for awhile but the 360 is brand new to me. I have used the Samsung 162c to extract my files with Xbox Backup Creator but I am confused as to the proper method to play the backup I create with it. If my understanding is correct, I still need to flash my xbox dvd-rom with firmware in order for it to read the new backup? Is flashing of the xbox 360 dvd necessary? If I use this method no mod chip is necessary? Do I need to make any modifications to the image before I select write in xbox backup creator? Sorry to be so inquisitive but in all my reading none of this is crystal clear to me. There seem to many methods developed since the creation of the 360. Lastly is there a tutorial for using xbox backup creator? Do I really need one or is it as intuitive as it looks?
Thanks for your help.

Yes!

no mod chip is required though.

It should be real easy to use the app. Just a few clicks.  (Except for Xbox One backups, kreons current firmware has a bug)

There are some new releases in the pipeline so look out for them!

Thanks redline, I was almost scared away from the 360 because there are so many different ways to approach backups. Your program is a cutting edge resolution. Thank you. I think I can pull it together from here. Do you have a website for your software or should I just watch here? Thank again.

Ok...newbie alert!

I have tried to follow all the instructions but maybe I am missing something.  I have made what I believe to be a successful backup of a game but when I put it into my 360 I get the DVD video portion saying that I need to put it into the 360, etc.  Also, I had some problems burning with XBC as it always gave me errors.

Thanks!

Here are my questions:

I read something about flashing your xbox 360 drive.
Flash it how?
