glad it worked  unsure.gif

keep the data starting at 0x02D0, sorry I wasn't to clear on that.  The last byte to be zeroed is 0x02CF

So starting from 0x0200 for a length of 0xD0.  rolleyes.gif

I did the same - zeroed out the 02D0 line but the backup still works.

If you backup an XBOX1 using the old method (dvdinfopro and isobuster), do you need to edit the ss or is it just with this tool?

Oh, another thing.  I tried to backup Fight Night 3 on 360 but I received a read error when trying to extract the image.

Tried with isobuster and no error.

not that i know for sure, but just taking a stab at from what redline said.  he mentioned that it seems to be an issue with kreons firmware, and he believes that kreon will fix it soon.

correct, that is my belief and it only affects the xbox one ss.

llsTixll - Sorry about that.
What was the error when extracting the image?

Redline - the error was something like (can't remember exactly cos I'm not in front of my home PC at the moment):

"A read error occurred.  This is not normal for XBOX360 discs and should be considered an error.  Click Yes to fill unreadable sectors with zeros"

I didn't end up finishing the image and just cancelled it.

Don't know if that helps or not.

Redline99, I also tried the burning part today.
Results were GREAT, posted the results in cdfreaks (because I cannot upload picture to X-box-scene) if you are interested.

So It works great on Liteon 165H6S (fw HV9N with HT 5.03) and the speed selection is also functional for that drive (I selected 2.4x even if this drive can burn that media at 4x, and the burn was done at 2.4x)

about llsTixll comment on reading xbox one disc, I had the same. It was saying:
Read errors have occured
This is normal for XBOX one disk. Care needs to be given about the surface qualityof the diskas the cause of the read error cannot be determined.
Select Yes to continue and fill unreadable sectors with 0's
I finally had to do the extraction with schtrom because I was not sure if it was important and wanted mostly to test the adjustment to the SS.bin. Should we disregard the message or there is something wrong?

llsTixll - hmmm that is an error reading the disk, you can try to increase the error retry for that drive on the options tab or turn off "speed boost" or both even.

sosotiit- great news on the writing part!  with the read error on a xbox 360 disk I would be hesitant to ignore it, it may be a sector of data that you need. I would tweak the setting on the options tab and try again.

yup, I can't read.  smile.gif

On a xbox one disk you will always get read error using kreons firmware. Unless he changes how that works of course.  But I decided to atleast let the user know about them.  The app will try to reread that sector as defined for that drive on the options tab.  You can increase the retries and reduce you risk on scratches (this will increase read time) or you can lower the retry count and make reading go faster, but this will increase your risk of getting bad data on a scratch.

So far this app has been working awesome for me!  Which is a good thing cuz after i backed up my Test Drive Unlimited (stealth backup), i was gonna put it back in its case but it slipped and totally ate pavement and now it's horribly scratched!   grr.gif  Arghhhh!!!  At least i can use my backup before i rebuff the original disc.  Your software saved me bro!

PS- "XBK" seems to be a good choice acronym for this app in my opinion.  Also, you sure you don't take Paypal as i would love to donate to you also.
