Fatx Problem With Xplorer360

I recently hooked my 360 harddrive up to my comp to use xplorer360 but when i try to open it up i get a "could not find a fatx drive to open" what am i not doing right.

i hope you get an answer back soon....i've been on this computer for almost 2 days straight.....

got that xsata, which comes with  xplorer 360.....but i get that same error......cant find fatx drive......

now im just happy my computer is working still.......cuzz i was moving all kinds drivers, and services

 round......trying to get it to go.......so let me know if you get the answer soon.......i will do likewise.....

Ya me as well, i got the 360 connectivity kit and it came with a hard drive connector and when i try to use xplorer360 i get that same error sad.gif

i think it had to do with the spring update or whichever one it was . but they were trying to combat all the xbox save achievement whores. before the update i could navigate no problem. try an updated version of explorer360

Are you guys running Windows Vista? If so you need to make sure you run xplorer360 as administrator. I had this error then gave that a shot and voila, it worked!

for people having trouble doing this with winXP and using the connectivity kits HDD adaptor, make sure is is connected up properly. even if you have it connected via usb, you still need the sata cable connected to the PC. the USB only carries power to the drive
