It Is Possible To Use Wireless Controller With Pc?

Like the topic title states, I was wondering if its possible to wirelessly connect the Xbox 360 Wireless controller to a computer (like a laptop with built in wireless capabilities).

Is there any software/hacks available to accomplish this?

at the current time no, but i'm pretty sure MS announced an adapter a while back that hasn't come out yet (looked like a wireless reciever that plugs into the USB from what i remember)

also, wireless isn't a generic term, these controllers aren't using 802.11g lol
