I read IMDB was fixed with 2-1-05 yet most queries come back with No Info error. Some movies work, more don't than do.

My old thumbs directory full of past IMDB queries did not work for the new build this time around, so I will have to start over when IMDB is working again.

Is there anyway to get the IMDB links integrated into XBMC.xml?

I know little of programming, but it seems very possible for XBMC to pull the Imdb site links from the xbmc.xml. Could someone with more experience shed some light on this for me?

noob question: IMDB used to work without fail about 2 months ago. Ever since then, it is extremely hit/miss. Why?

IMDB changed it's search address, so the static address XBMC went to would no longer work.

Just in the interests of increasing the signal to noise ratio:

IMDb changed their site before Christmas (around Dec 20) and just recently changed it again.

The first change involved a different layout of the search results. The second involved then changing the form of the search result links.

In neither case did the actual URLs change. The XBMC team fixed it (in both cases) within 24 hours of becoming aware of it.

The CDDB is in the xbmc.xml, so how hard is it to put IMDB's DB in the xbmc.xml?

Since a lot of movies come back with no info even though they have it on their website, is it possible to add it manually? I know how to add the screenshots but I would like to add the info suck as the date and the plot of the movie.

JayDee, I have 2-1-05 and still get no info with most movies, even the easy ones. Is there a specific date build that addresses this problem after 2-1-05? Thanks.

The fix was added in the 3rd of Febuary CVS (but if yours is compiled from the anonymous 3rd of Feb CVS then it may not include the fix).
