yes but since the dvd drive has its on key it means that even if you switch dvd drives you still have to use the same key. That also means that if M$ bans you for any reason they might log in multiple keys (like hard drive serial, dvd key, and anything else) and block all of them. That means in order to get back on live you would have to somehow replace every key. Ofcourse there might be a program that can change the required key to something else, It still wont stop the fact that you will need a new hard drive unless you would want to get your new key banned. No different than when you replaced your hard drive you had to flash a new bios unless you wanted your new hard drive to be banned as well.
i don't think they will check the hdd serial. But first of i don't own a xbox360 but you can buy a core system and
a pro system, or wath's it called but its a fact you can buy a hdd for the core system. so there is no hdd key stored it the xbox at this point. so you can upgrade and maybe later on to a bigger drive.
But then the Hdd serial will change.
Okay ms can have a list of every hdd that gets in a xbox. i am pretty sure about that.
But then again this would be a perfect tool for getting the job done.
nice to se some progress in the xbox360 scene i just wait for the dev and homebrew scene to kick of.
it stared nice with the flash player etc. thx to the ksoik <- demo but news is slow.
