Content moved to another profile will not work. Anything within a PIRS archive package, Demos, Downloaded Icons, and Themes all reside in this category; will be signed to its original profile and will not work without the original owners profile as well.

If your buddy wanted to share his profile and his content, you could do that. wink.gif

Only saves may be moved profile to profile, console to console.

I have not yet connected my 360Hdd but wanted to know if you could copy XBLA games... I read your post and did not see you list the XBLA games. sorry if I am just not getting a straight answer on this I have been looking all over.

No, obviously there is no homebrew on the 360 yet, so how would you suppose you could run a FTP server/client?

You can move whatever you want to the hdd.

As long as whatever your moving is signed in any way. Then yes, it's movable.

I believe soundtracks are stored in /partition3/mindex/media/
They appear to be standarad .wma with a wierd header. Someone could easily create a soundtrack editor, or you might see one in a future xplorer build.
Does anyone know if there's a soundtrack editor that can accomplish this? I saved an image of my 360's HDD and would like to convert the ripped CD's saved here to a usable format on my PC.

It works. Vista breaks the program, not the XPort.

I am doing a DIY 120gb hard drive upgrade.  I want to move my content from the original 20gb drive to the new 120gb drive.  When i tell XPlorer360 to extract partition 3 it just loops through Data0001 to Data 0225.  I even let it run over night and after 18 hours it is still doing the same thing.  What can i do?  I really want to get my saves/content to the new drive.

Thanks

-Will

Hi,

exactly the same problem here. I want to copy my Xbox1 HDD to another one but it just starts looping some file over and over again. Really sucks!

Ok, I've never been able to use the "Back-up" feature since it always gave me an error. sorry can't remember it and now it's giving me something else.

Last night I downloaded Red vs. Blue: D.I.Y. and some other free icons/pictures, but now I can't open my drive with out getting the following errors.

"Invalid filename size: 168 in cluster 1, loop #0" right after I click "Open Harddrive or Mem Card..."

I click ok, then:
"WARNING: file (all these random characters) has unknown flags b5"

I click ok, then:
My firewall "Zone Alarm" detects "suspicious behavior" saying that Xbox 360 File Explorer is trying to launch C:\WINDOWS\system32\dwwin.exe, or use another program to gain access to privileged resources.

If I click "allow" I get this widow that says "Xbox 360 Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close."

If I click "deny" xplorer360 crashes.

It seems like xplorer360 has a problem with reading drives that have file names that are too big. huh.gif Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Here's a link to my screen shots on Flickr:

Hello erveryone!, first I´m absolutely new with Xplorer 360 software so maybe that is the error. I´m trying to copy my save games from Dead or Alive 4 and Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 to my new HD, as far as I can, I managed to located and copy both save games with success. Before in Memory Status in the 360 Dashboard, appeared the game with 0 saves, now, appears with the correct number of saves.

The issue is this, when I go to the game (DoA4), the screen shots are visible in the game, but not the saves!!!, is like I had never played and finished the game and unlocked every hidden thing of the game!!!!.

Is this normal for Team Ninja saves???

When stuff starts looping you can just manually move the files or folders to your PC.  I've found some folders just mess the process up so I'll just move folders in groups and when you come across the problem folder then you manually move each file in that folder - not the most efficient, but gets around the whole looping for hours deal.

I really wish these programs could be improved upon and really would love it if they could image only the used data - nothing like backing up a 120gb drive that is only 10gb full, but having to use up all the space to store the image (of course you can rar/zip the file up afterwards, but that takes hours.)
