Shame about the WMV's. I imagine that this program will develop and eventaully have these functions built in - combining the image with the WMV etc.

Right, so, what about music??? I imagine there WMA - anyone tried copying music over yet?

Also - this windows corruptiont thing. I do this - will windows corrupt my drive? How can I stop it from doing this?!  huh.gif

So .mp3 or .jpg wont load off the hdd when copied over to it? Not that it really matters at this point, its far easier to buy a cheap 512MB usb dongle for 50 bucks and plug it in.

Yes. I want to know if .wma, .mp3 or.gif work when transferred. Or are they combind with an image too.

Im also still confused over the windows corruption thing. How do you stop windows from corrupting your drive.

I have had no windows corruption on the drive
I suggest if you dont want the corruption to occur then dont open the drive with anything but xplorer360
I havent tried mp3 or pics yet but I did try a overwrite of the xbox1 executable with the kiosk disk
boot executable but when i put the xbox1 game in it says the disk is unreadable

That'd surely be the ultimate solution.

Then maybe one could build the same kind of docking station on top of your pc that the x360 has. Just click it in and you're done biggrin.gif

Im not building docking staion but in short. Im using the diagrams off of free60.org to get my pin outs, a bastardized sata cable. and a bastardized satapower connector for pinout info...I also uses a PCI card and cut some of the connector off of that to get the blade that will plug in to the connector. Its not pretty but It seems to work. A multimeter test is all it takes. The tricky part was figuring out the power.

Because i dont want to destroy my drive or 360. I used a multi meter to test what was what then made my cabe accordingly.

Right, once I can purchase an adapter (SATA to USB) here in the UK - I will just end all processes before plugging in the drive. I wonder if safe mode would achieve the same results - thats if it loads the SATA driver.

Can someone with it working have a go at pictures or music?

I have to get my hands on a memory card and test this out.

I guess everyone has to try this one out by theirselves.

The gamesave will show up, but fails to load. So I've been told.

If anyone wants to be of real assistance, grab a digicam and record the failure and upload it somewhere so that this thing can be settled once and for all.

Iv seen this said quite a few times now

You cannot just clone the drive onto a usb or another sata disk, there is checking and signing on the sata to make sure its a official one including serial number and model number.

The usb will only allow mass storage memory and a cloned sata plugged into usb will not appear as a drive or you will be prompted to format.
