i got my 360 last night, i got on the computer today to install media connect but its a no go,
i have SP2 XP and its going through a modem/router in one to the 360. i have it set to the default xbox live blade and when i go to install it on the computer its gets to where it says its installing files but it quits and says and error has occured. it says the restart the installation and if the problem persists to contact the hardware manufacturer.

update, i tried going to the media center where it gives you the code to write down then it says leave it on this screen. tried running the installer, still no go

You have Media Center edition? Aslo how do you take screenshots on your tv?

no its not media edition, its windows XP with service pack 2.
i took the screen shot on here, its from when you have to install Media Connect.
when the error came up all i did was press alt+ print screen, it takes a screen shot and puts it in the clipboard
