Just wondering if anyone can help me on this one, but before I get started let me clarify that this is a legit and legal question on an un-modded XBOX360 4GB Slim with a 16GB External USB HDD. (Not sure if I've posted under the correct forum so sorry if its not!).
I purchased a new game (PES 2011) the other day and accidently scratched the disk;
The disc will install up to 90% of the game before it errors (I can see where it is scrated and is a small amount of the disc); It also allows me to load the game but "errors" after 5mins stating the disc is unreadable.
So my question is...
I have an ISO / image of PES 2011. Is it be possible to install / inject the game (as an installed game) via PC to External USB HDD.
This is so I am able to play my scratched LEGIT game as its mostly readable and will pass the XBOX security checks, yet read all the data from my HDD.
I can see where the game files need to go on the USB drive, Im just not sure how to install it via windows.
As far as I'm aware all I need to do is inject the files from the GAME DISC and somehow convert them to the 'data00*' type files into a new directory for PES2011.
Heres an example of how other games would install, this one being UFC2010.
HDD -> XBOX360 -> Data Partition -> Content -> 0000*'s -> 54510851 - > 00004000 -> A1015CEB6F320FE9FBC8389611264D1C -> Data00*'s
All Data00* files are located in here for UFC. I think that 'A1015CEB6F320FE9FBC8389611264D1C' is the game ID (for UFC)?
Is there any software that allows me to "inject" the ISO to my USB HDD which will then work on the XBOX (convert them to the 'data00*' i'm assuming)?
Any help will be appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
