The update is now in the wild. Dunno if these are the guys who leaked it, but I believe it was included with Kinect kits that went out.

No if you are in the Kinect beta you get it as a update on Xbox Live. And M$ was hided the update file on a new hided partion on the Harddrive. So you can only see this partion in a hex editor or a updated Xbox 360 harddrive program.. But wee dont leaked it Modfreakz has shown others how..

dude you didnt answer the question if i put this on my system will my backups still work?for those willing to take the risk you can download it from www.megaups.com ill wait till someone answers

If you update your console with this you will not be able to sign into live until the update is made public. Which will be November.
