I just upgraded my Xbreboot JTAG to have Freeboot, and my Avatar has become a silhouette again, where can I get the Avatar files to make it display again?

On the same topic, is there a way yet to change the Avatar's little motto/saying without connecting to Xbox Live? I've been wanting to change mine for a while, you'd think something as little as changing some text could be done offline.

I'm assuming you upgraded it to 9199 freeboot. So I would say just download the update from xbox.com for USB drives. Put it on a usb drive. Plug it into your jtagged 360 and accept the update. It shouldn't remove the hack or anything just install the needed files for the avatar update.

I'm finding that site a tad hard to navigate, and when I finally got to an update page it was for Dash 8955.

Try a little harder. They have the 9199 SystemUpdate on xbox.com as well. Should be ~85mb
