Got 2 systems, both falcons, both running freeBOOT 0.032-9199 using SMC from XBR3a, with both systems this game locks up usually after teeing off, anyone else seeing this issue

further tests show that it only happens with custom characters?

thats interesting i have chosen to hold off on freeboot since xbr 3 running great for me and i follow the old motto if it aint broke dont fix...sooo what i have been doing is looking to see what users report about running freeboot i found this thread here: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=713029 but my hunch about that one was that it was that guy's xbox not freeboot i assumed they had thoroughly tested before releasing buuut maybe i was assuming too much...

just curious what game is this with?  Did you do some sort of custom hack? or just made a custom char?

I updated to freeBOOT, cause for personal reasons i wanted to run 9199 and cause on the falcons running XBR3a they would somtimes fail to boot up, buggy annoyance, this has been the only issue with freeBOOT for me.

Like i said Tigerwoods 2010, custom character, but not with built in characters

ywah i hear ya onb the issue with falcons btw you just said teeing off but nothing about tiger but i get it now..hmmm well what i am curious about it do you have this error when you run xbr i also assume the failer boots still happen with freeboot?  I have a xenon xbr 3 smooth sailing..

I'm on a jasper 512 and using freeboot and I don't get any lockups playing tiger 2010 with custom created golfer.

so is this a bad flash of freeboot i wonder why does it affect something so specific you sure it not a bad rip of the game?
