Smc For Jtag

Alrighty so im ready to move on to freeboot but theres one thing holding me back... in the tuts i have found they tell me to use either a smc from the Cygnos360 V2 SMC Collection.zip or extract one from my xbr image.. what one will work best? i dont have a cable as of yet so its all or nothing.

i have updated my xenon with xbr3 to the latest freeboot with one of those cygnos SMCs, working fine with no problems smile.gif

Gahh if it couldn't get worse I found a tut which uses a smc from a freeboot v0.30.rar
I guess it can't hurt to use the same one as you I guess lol.

Sorry for the double post but I used the one from my xbr3 image and it works great smile.gif

The SMC from an xbr image is the same as the smcs that come in the proper package at efnet.org --> channel #freeboot

i recomend you use the xbr smc as cygnos v2 smc can cause e79 and nand corruption

don't lie.
the cygnos SMC is to be used with.. CYGNOS! and the xbr with the diode/resistor method.
