Hey im looking for a NES Emulator for My JTAG
all iv found is the One that runs thru Media Center

Dose any one know of one for JTAG?

there is currently no native emu for the xbox360,
but mednafenx (a xbox1 emu) runs perfectly through the xbox emu of the 360. its a good solution till a native emu is released

PS: this only works with the hacked xbox1 emu, then just place the emulator on your hdd/usb with roms in the correct folder and start it from xexmenu or freestyle

does the n64 emulator for xbox1 work on xbox360 with backwards compatability patch??

the only emus i could get working were:
MednafenX, Gnuboy and ScummVM

tried several other but none worked or at least could get a rom to work...

I`m not understanding how do you get it to run?

got the emu from the usual places, extracted the downloaded archive into a folder, added roms into the roms folder, copied everything through ftp to my internal hdd. started the emus default.xbe from a dash like freestyle or xexmenu....

So I`m running from my retail hdd or my external cause when I try to run it through the external I get a black screen. If I am putting it on retail does it go in the contents folder?

A friend pointed me to this site because I have a dilema. I understand that there is NO official NES Emulator for the X360 (Jtag). Oki. A few days ago I downloaded a pack called: mednafenx v15 "full" (emu+ressurection xtra+roms). Here is the .nfo:

Do you guys know hot do I get it to work? I try contacting the guy who made the clip (and uploader) but no respond  

As you can see from the video - It works!  

When I try accesing default.xbe I get a pop up screen that says:

This original xbox game is not supported on your x360 console. Version 1.0  

I'm not an expert in Jtag consoles and hacking emulators - I'm just a simple gamer that wants to relive the memories and good times by playing the nes games   when he dosen't play on LIVE with his regulat X360  

Any help or any thoughts on this?

I think you need the hacked backward compatibility update to launch the xbe. You can get it off of xbins.

To install this, copy the Compatibilty folder to your devkits Y drive.

I figure it out - on a normal 360 the Y frive is actualy partition 2. It works fine (just like in the clip)

this is one i have yet to get running
I installed hacked xbox comp update
have this emu inside Xbox1 folder
launch freestyle shows up in xbox1 games
click emu and get the non compatable you might need update measage

Figured it out was using Xbox361-nov2007-Venomous_Fire  instead of the one from xbins and I guess its junk now its working

Same here. You'd think it would have been once of the first. I guess it's since there aren't that many JTAG'ed boxes out there. Most folks just using FW modded drives.

By the way I use freeboot 12611. Meybe it's not compatible to this NES emu and Xbox1 stuff?

use the new dash launch  remade say
" with the included patch set, launch.xex acts as a helper to detect when
    xbox1 emulator loads, allowing memory unlock patch and xbox1 emulator
    to function together"

So if u use the new dash launch with the 12611 then yes you can play it.
