Could be the Avatar update but normally it will still let you play without that.  It gives you an option to continue without it normally.

i had that lucidity update in my folder
did remove it but didnt make any difference

also heard of a update to play more media like mkv i think

ok it was the avatars update ...
hope nothing went wrong since right after reboot of the update dashlaunch starts FSD
hope theres no after update bullshit that had to be done in nxe after reboot

hang on let me try the game and see if it asks for an update but as for the avatar update it is 100% safe tried to find you the link i used but forgot it might not be appreciated here (i used a torrent) but basically since you already have the 8955 dash it's just going to skip all the other data and give you the avatar stuff but let me check this game and see what msg i get...

yes thanks it was the avatar thing
put the dashboard 8955 update on usb stick
and it updated with no problems so i have avatars now
with xbr8955 booted seems to be no problemto update as it installs only avatar shit

lucidity works now...


one small question:

is that avatar update installed to the nand or to the hdd ?

in ur case the hd cuz you already have 8955 on ur nand technically so the update just skips over the actual dash files...
