hi,

Are you sure your suggested solution would work? Because installing the original XBOX games this way will NOT result in these games being accessible from NXE dashboard, which is what I wanted.

After copying to the hard drive you would need to get them onto your computer and run xbc to create an iso, then iso2god.  Once you have the GOD file place it into the correct spot on the hard drive to have it show up in NXE.  I have not needed this but in theory it sounds good.

How do you mean by this? I have the backup currently on a DVD. What do you mean by "after copying to the hard drive"? Which "hard drive"? the PC? the Xbox 1 (I don't have a Xbox 1 anymore). How do you mean by "you would need to get them onto your computer"?

Put the DVD into the Xbox 360
Open Freestyle Dash (or another program with copy DVD function)
Press Y to go to menu
Select Copy DVD and place files into folder called Xbox1
After copy is finished attach your hard drive to your computer.  Search for tutorial if you don't know how to do this.  I use a USB external drive as a go between but there are ways to do this with a stock drive as well but USB is the easiest.
Then run Xiso
In the menu go to Tools>Make Xiso
Select the folder with the extracted files
Select where to save the ISO
Open ISO2GOD and select the newly created ISO
Convert
Place God File back onto hard drive in the correct place under the content folder

This seems like alot of work, I personally just use the Copy DVD to save to the hard drive and open through Freestyle Dash.

Hope this helps

Wow... this method sucks... Maybe use Dvd2Xbox? Didn't that used to rip an ISO to the box for you?

Didn't mean to sound bashing at all. =p Sorry about that.

It sucks that it's the only method. Haha.  I am grateful for it's existence though.

I'm just spoiled by xbox 1 homebrew.
