My Stock 360 And Jtag 360 Wont Recognise My New External Hard Drive

ok, so i bought a western digital 500gb hard drive and using windows vista i created a partition for NTFS and made a fat32 partition as large as it would let me. but neither any on my 360s, blu-ray player and ps3 will recognise it.

can anyone please tell me some good software that will work on vista that is good for making partitons etc. I tried using my partition magic 8 but i have been told it wont work on vista. Its all wiped again and ready to start from scratch. thanks alot guys.
