AFAIK you can't boot Xexloader from a USB drive alone.

Boot it from CD and get a Memory unit and use viper/Xexloader to copy xexloader to the MU

When I go to my MU I have things like MobileB.dat  MobileC.dat, aac.xexp1 .  Im just a little afraid to put anything in there.  Thinking maybe it wont boot if I screw with that.  So is it ok?

You put xexloader in content/000000000000/ in the memory unit

You are looking in your flash device, dont mess with anything in there.

Usb Drive Wont Work With Xexloader?

This is where my confusion lies.  I have a 20 GB Hdd (off another xbox360)  And I also have a 500 GB external USB drive.  Plus I have the 512 onboard Nand.
I did have a couple of gamesaves and a bunch of Beatles Rockband DLC that I originally bought and DL to the 20GB Hdd using another xbox360.  What I wanted to do was take all the info on the standard 20GB Hdd and transfer that to my 500GB USB drive.  Which is ok except if I take the 20GB Hdd off and try to install xexloader to the USB drive it doesnt show up in the games library.
So at this point I still need the 20GB Hdd.  And I can only use the 500GB Hdd as a Games folder.
Another problem I am currently having is the DLC I bought isnt showing up anymore in game.  And Ive pulled it off and ran it thru Yaris Swap and it appeared to unlock them or whatever it does.  But when I put them back in the same spot on the original Hdd content folder but they just dont show up.  I hope I didnt loose all my DLC...

How do I do that?  I thought it was already booting into a 8955 kernel, the latest.  It doesnt mention anything about needing a game update to continue?
Also when I boot my xbox it goes to the normal startup NXE dash.  But then if I scroll over two panels I have the Games Library.  If I click on that it shows recent games and Xexloader is an option.  But thats only when I have it installed to the old 20GB Hdd.  It doesnt show up it I just copy the whole 20gb Hdd and paste it over to the usb drive.  But anyway, thats where it shows up for me...

Is Xport 360 on xbins?  If I google it all I get are a bunch of spyware sites pretending to offer a download.  I dont understand what you mean about adding the latest title update?  Where do I get the latest tu?  Or is it in the folder already?  If thats the case then I just need to know how to "add" it?

You can get everything you need from Xbins .  also you can use Xplorer360 which is similar to Xport 360

Why don't you burn XexLoader (ISO format) and boot it and then copy ANYTHING you want from your USB to your Xbox HDD ??  cool.gif
