Been trying to check one of my own rips, basically I just want to check the layerbreak is right, but I keep getting errors.

Abgx informs me that

1.either the disc isnt a DL (it is btw[/i])
2.This DVD simply doesnt support checking the layerbreak
3. The drive has gone nuts and needs to be replaced

I'm thinking its either option 2 or 3

It also give: unrecoverable read Error while reading video(Power on/ Reset Device occured)

Think My kreon drive is at fault?

Why try to check an already burnt dvd in abgx?  You should be checking your ISO in abgx before burning it and I always let imgburn 'verify' the burn.  Sure, it seems like a bit more work, but better safe than sorry wink.gif  Also, do you have another drive you can test your already burnt dvd on?

Mainly I thought I'd try it out, alternatively i could re-rip from the backup and pass that though abgx to see what happens but legally talking one back up per original, as it says in the sticky top of the forum.

Plus now I found this error I would like someone who knows what or why this error is occuring .simples.

I'm curious about this too. I want to know if there's a way to check discs i burned a long time ago but never wrote on them if i'd stealthed them or not.

Just open ABGX and in the input box select Burned DVD. Choose your drive and Launch:)
