Installation Software For For Flashing...
« on: February 25, 2009, 07:03:00 PM »

Yo! I looked into this whole flashing thing to play mods for my X360 console. I didn't know it would be so complicated (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) The hype made it sound pretty simple. I got the hardware, installed it, peice of cake (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) but now here comes the flashing part. I've been complaining about compatability between the new hardware and the hardware I'm using to install the new hardware to my X360 hardware (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) to no response. I'm reading tuts and slowly discovering that the only reason that this isn't going down (working for some and not for others) is probably, simply, because there's no software program for the hardware to simplify the whole project! I mean these tuts are great. Hell of explainatory and a lot of them pointing out the same steps (unless it's the same tut rewritten from a success story) But dude this isn't some espionage mission, I'm not James Bond, I just want to play a friggin' game! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Unless this has already been covered, I think this whole "modding" thing would be a whole lot better if a few gaps were filled. I've been waiting to flash my 360 console for about a month now, really having to resort to alternate ways of getting my game on, simply because I'm not an entire computer whiz (or I just don't have the right equipment). Should this really stand in my way of gaming? I mean it's hex edit this, blah blah blah, these pdf's are 3 days long, everything's "at your own risk" because there's so much manual labor, mu'fu**az'll be lucky to have a working console after some of this. I ain't knoccin' gettin' technical but for all of this time and money, this is ridiculous (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)  Make some better installation software programs man. Everything that I have to do after installing the flash hardware should be compiled to a disk and categorized according to the hardware. Hey right about now, I just wish the follow through was as easy as the installation. UDigg? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

You could be the biggest douche bag to ever to enter these forums. You are just one of those people that expect everything on a plate, without every having to do some decent reading for yourself. Oh and its clear your just doing this for piracy, so nobody will help you. I could sit here all day and explain why you are an idiot, but its not worth it.

PS: Learn to write english, your not 50 cent.

Doosh (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) 50 cent! Piracy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) First off piracy is cheap, why settle for crumbz... As far as research I did all that had to be done, I mean you go in and the only thing that'll make you slow down is if your console is not compatible with the mod you're trying to get a fix from. Yes, I have a Samsung, not Hitachi or Benq (whatever the hype with Benq iz) All of these technicalities didn't come about until after I got this pretty peice of hardware, then it got complicated, who the hell saw this coming! I'm a first time modder by the way, you're prob only hitting on that I have no prev experience. I just need the right toolz to make this complete, I got iprep and all, seen and read all of the tuts, none of it's working (I can see I'm not alone too, these forums are full of questions, complaints and comebaccs) These hardwares are form fitting, why isn't the firmware? What, the stuff only works on macs and not PC's? Should I take a second risk then trying to invest in the right computer to get this done? Of course not, I'll just hollar at a shopowner once I FINALLY see I CAN'T DO IT MYSELF (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I think I'm just lacking RAM, it ain't as serious as I can make it sound (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)  Yo, I'm just basically, right about now, in need of like a boot disk, I've seen the boot disk page but I really don't know where to start. Are these operating systems programs? Reinstall windows? Not likely. You've prob got some junk layin' around you can do that with. I've tried the hexedit with the upgrade from 20gb to 120gb western digital thing. Hddhackr was a bust, flashing my firmware, another flop. You all are supposed to be the pros and all you can throw me is this MacGyver crap for an administrative overstock. I've tried it all and I'm down to my last. Pardon my frustrationz but when people stop responding I start Capitalizing! How long have you been doing this, by the way? Prob since XBOX1, maybe longer. I'd prob have it licked by now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pop.gif) You're the pirate, hence the term "hack" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Maybe you should try rolling with the grain...   And mine english iz fine, if you had a hard time making that out then Iknowugonhate if I really start lettin' it happen (IMG:style_emoticons/default/muhaha.gif)
