Is Setting The Layer Break Important?
« on: January 05, 2009, 12:18:00 PM »

I burned one of my backups with the Xbox Backup Creator and ImgBurn. I heard you are supposed to set a specific Layer Break when burning games. Well mine was set at automatic, and the game seems to work. Is setting the layer break important at all?

When you extracted your game and it made a DVD file, then it would have the layer break in the DVD file.  All games have the same layer break I believe.

The very early release's didn't and came as a different format but yes all games nowadays come in that format and yes is does have the layer break in the .dvd file, however i find it best to insert the setting into the burning program, the game will still work.
