The Latest Xbox Backward Compatibility

Well...My question is like there is a xbox backward compatibility update from MS website, does it affect the modified xbox 360 once it is installed? As stated in the MS website, the installation is gonna update both the console and the xbox live. But mine has not even been set up an xbox live account.

it should not affect the console just add support for xbox1 games but make sure your using the lastest hacked firmware since u said your console is modded

Well... Mine is softmodded with iextreme 1.4...Is it possible to update the backward compatibility xbox1? Will it ruin my xbox 360 softmodded?

no it will be fine. i have a console i didnt care about and updated it on live with ixtreme 1.3 still on it and its still not banned yet. plays on live a few times a week. i will update it when the lite-on fw comes out.
