Update Failed, insert Hdd But I No Longer Have It,help!
« on: December 19, 2007, 10:03:00 AM »

I have been struggling with my 360 as it has been suffering from red rings, have you heard of this issue HA-HA!
I did get it working again and played gow for approx 1 hour,i then went to play a new game and was told that an update was necessary so i followed its instructions and the system restarted at which point my red rings
(3 of,error 0102) reappeared.I have now refixed the console properly but i am now greeted with a purple screen stating it could not find the HDD and advised me to attach it or contact Microsoft customer support.I no longer have said HDD for whatever reason and do not have access to it or any other for that matter so i now find myself with a major problem..or do i?
Is there anyway for me to revive this console without the HDD,i have no access to the dashboard etc. and can only get as far as the purple screen mentioned above. The console is flashed and i was wondering whether some kind of firmware restore or re-flash might shake it into action but wanted to gain some sound advice proior to any attempts of this and would really appreciate some knowledgable insight from some of you more experienced 360 "techies".
Cheers.
