Apologies if this question has been asked before but i'm new to the site and Not really sure where to put this question. Is it possible at the moment to copy movies to the Hard Drive of the 360 if you have had it Modded??. Advice would be appreciated.

You can't directly rip DVD's onto the Xbox360 but you can rip them on your PC and stream them to your 360. Or, I believe you can put them on an external hard drive and play them off that. Just make sure they are in an Xbox supported video format.

I just stream videos onto a home theater PC, so I don't know how well it works through an Xbox.

Thanks very much for your response, Very helpfull. I have recently Bought a Samsung HT-X250 Home Theatre system which doesn't have a HDD. Can you recommend a Reasonable Hard Drive that I could connect to the Theatre System that I could put the Movies onto??.

Also, Sorry to be so out of touch but can you advise what formats would play through the Surround Sound or 360??.

practically any external usb 2.0 hard drive will work with the 360 for streaming music, wmv's, photos, etc.. as long as it is formated for fat32 standard
