Ok, bottom line is, I want to reverse the patch for Forza 2 that fixed the money glitch, I have never played online, but since I am always logged into Xbox live, i got the automatic update that fixed the glitch. I went into the system tab on the dashboard and deleted the updates using the x,x,lb,rb,x,x buttons and when I went to go play forza again, it asked if I wanted to download the updates and I clicked no and it continued to deny me from playing until i reconnected to live adn downloaded the updates. Anyway to get around this? Will reformtting my HD make the glitch work again. I think it is lame that everyone took advantage of this and took it to the online auction, it is a video game for god's sake, its supposed to be fun! Anywho, help if you can. Thanks

I know this post is a bit outdated, and you may have already figured out how to fix your problem.

after you clear the cache using the button combo. disconnect your network cable.. then all will be well.
