well as long as the game is made correctly you shouldnt have any problems getting online... the update on the firmware just stopped a dodgy incorrect disc from booting up like a normal 360 unmodded would do so you can't get banned.

But to be safe update maybe?

Should I flash it back to the original firmware that the 360 came with? would that help any?
