Gears, Madden Play But Not Xbla Games?

I can play Gears of War online for 6 hours. Madden, and Fight Night run easy to with no problems. Then I start playing graphically simple xbla games and the console starts freezing about every 10 minutes so this leaves me to believe it is a hard drive problem since the console doesn't freeze when playing graphically intensive games like Gears. The hard drive signs me in my profile fine, and plays music fine so it's not completely shot. Any thoughts/suggestions about this issue? Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Its not a cpu or gpu issue that you are having and after having the same problems with and without my hdd plugged i can tell you almost 100% its an issue with your RAM chips overheating during gameplay.
