More info would help a lot.  SATA chipset?  How did you boot up, 360 first then PC, did you use the 0800 disc?  What firmware are you using?  Just give us more info.

My mistake. I had my firware flashed to 4.2a xtreme. I tried botting up 360 first, then PC and vice-versa, but neither way reads my 360 drive. I was wondering if the fact that my PC doesn't have SATA would pose a problem, but thought that shouldn't be an issue. Or am I wrong in this instance? I don't have any SATA drives, so I'm a little slow in updating my system.

Also, I'm a little unsure of this 0800 disc you've referred to...

Thanks in advance...

How are u connecting the drive to your pc then ? sata to usb ?
and the 0800 img comes with the xtreme firmware it is needed to get the drive seen by windows and allso in your case since u had 4.2a flashed to it u will need it if u ever want to down/upgrade your drives firmware..

heres my set up
via 8237 integrated sata(works great for flashing hitachis and sammys, ive done both now)
xtreme 4.2b
turn 360 on with sata connected to OFF computer, insert 0800 disc, then eject when my dashboard says open tray after reading it.
turn on pc, and here we are.

any help would be much appreciated!
