ok. first of all, i was able to stream videos fine for about th first week i had MCE. now this week the windows update thing came up and it had a bunch of little security updates and the rollup2 thing (it was an older copy of MCE2005 that my uncle gave me) so i went and installed them and rebooted. well now i cannot stream video to my 360. pictures and music works fine. i cant stream the MS supported wmv files or .avi files (or any other non suported files) via VLC360 or Transcode360 (no supprise on transcode360 because that never worked anyways lol). i just get an error message after about 1 or 2 min. that says "the extender has encountered a problem. please restart the extender. read the hardware manual for info on restarting the extender." this is really frustrating because i really dont want to have to spend all the time to burn all my files to DVD just so i can watch them on my TV. please can someone help. thanks
