Updated, fresh install, prompted to update again to r702, still no game covers or screenshots

I had the same issue and I fixed it by changing my dashlaunch settings, in the launch.ini and change "livestrong =" from 'true' to 'false'

the setting was blocking the covers etc... from downloading. After the fix and a restart the covers all downloaded fine

Yup. By default dashlaunch sets livestrong to true if no launch.ini exists. I also had to reset FSD to defaults to get it to start grabbing the covers after making the change.

My xbox 360 does not indicate any update available. currently running FSD 2.2 rev 635. How can I force it to look for an update?
Never mind. I booted into the xbox dash and back and it said there was an update available.

Has anybody else had problems with dup game entries showing after the 702 upgrade? I did some folder renaming a while back on an earlier FSD build, for better organization. After that I rescanned and everything was showing up correctly.

After the 702 update, there were multiple dup entries listed, showing both the old and new USB game paths lol. No big deal really... I just cleared the data and refreshed everything. Just curious if anybody else had a similar problem.

Really like the old-skool demo feel to the about box!! (The old music was cool, the new is good also but would have been nice to hear some samples of the old in the new)

To other matters:

I just updated a client's box(online to 692) and got about 5 crashes one after the other (pressing try to continue) hope u guys have the crash dumps as AFAIK, there should be no reason for any crashing.

How did you change the Livestrong on the launch.ini? I can copy the launch.ini file and change it on my pc but xex menu won't let me change any files on the flash
