After the install the 360 will work like normal. You need to use the King Kong game with modified shaders to boot linux.

is there a list of programs that run fine under linux on 360? what do most people put on? Ubuntu?

don't be lazy.. i posted a list in a post like 5 topics under this orsomething.. research a little;. We recommend debian .. But Ssmurf also got ubuntu 7.10 to work.. so you can try that ..
