Wanting To Install Linux On 360 With Samsung Drive

Im wanting to make use of my 360 as i dont use it anymore by turning it into a linux server.

its go a old kernal something in the 2000's but ive got a samsung drive is there a way to flash these drives so i can install linux?

also can i only install unbuntu or can i install xdsl or any other linux distro
