Issues With Live Cannot Connect But Connected To Internet

Im connected to the internet but cannot connect to xbox live it was working fine just yesterday morning. Whats going on??!?!!!  I dont think I am banned because my z codes are 0000 0000   Is there some new ban wave going around whats up with live?
