So I am paying $60 a year for live....which I should be able to play online with....

Now I can't afford to buy every title out there.....if it's worth it I buy...

I often rent a lot of games .... sure , great 7 days.. well I will rent for a weekend and often the next weekend rent again..now have to pay to play online even though I already paid $60 to play online....

Plus I buy the game , if I get RROD and buy a new console I will have to pay again??

I think I may just let live go , finally MOD my system, jtag it .. and start trying to get xlink going better....

I can see alot of people leaving Xbox Live -- maybe time to look into a PS3

if you pay $60 a year for live, you are being ripped off, you can easily find sub cards for $30-35 on Amazon and other sites here and there.  Some sites even have a regular price of $40 with no tax.

No you wont have to pay for this again, it is linked to your XBL account.  I don't know why all you people say I am jumping ship to get a PS3.  Sure the the online service is free, but it isn't the greatest.  I have a PS3 and XBOX and I definitely think that XBL is better then PSN.  I don't see why you would consider jumping ship anyway.  If you still rent EA games for PS3, its the SAME ordeal here.

I don't really care as I don't play many EA games online but then I remember I like to play Madden when it first comes out. But I remember they did that thing where you needed to buy the game to get a franchise code, and how easy it was to get one from support so I am hoping it is the same for this online pass.

Let me get this straight, is it locked to the xbox or xbox live gamertag?

Either way wtf, my brothers xbox cant use the game on his gamertag? We have to buy 2 seperate games so we can both play at different times, 20 feet away. Something isnt right.. Ill have to get 2K sport games next year I guess..
