If you knew anything about how it happened, which obviously you don't, you would know there wasn't "NO" guessing involved....There is a number of possibilities on how this was done..exploits,keyloggers, hell it could have been someone he personally knows looking for some fame and fortune...Point being if you we're to try and "Guess" the account after say 3 tried the account would be locked up for a bit...
I know just as much about how this happened as you do. Besides, I believe I did say guessing (or social engineering) was the "most likely" scenario. Yes, there are other ways to go about hacking an account, but using the e-mail password reset trick is one of the more likely scenarios, especially when you consider the fact that a high ranking executive at Twitter's e-mail account was "hacked" using this method, as well as former Alaska governor and U.S. Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
"Big names" and celebrities aren't immune to this trick and in some cases are more vulnerable, especially if they answer the password reset question honestly. In the case of the Twitter executive, the "hacker" found the answer by searching the guy's blogs and tweets. In Sarah Palin's case, all it took was some minor research. It's not too difficult when some of the questions include: "What elementary school did you attend?", "What is your mother's maiden name?", and "What is the name of your first pet?". All of this information could be in a blog, forum post, or simply a matter of public record.

I just hope Major Healy and Dr. Bellows's accounts are more secure.
