Can't Connect To Certain Member

Ok, so 3 guys and myself have been teaming up since Modern Warfare gaming together without a problem ever.

One guy gets a new modem, and now we can't connect to live. I can't even join the party if he's the host.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Does he need to change some kind of preference on his modem/internet service?

Did he get a new modem from his ISP or a new router? Or both?

Sounds like his NAT is on strict.

Do some googling on how to open it up.

it would be easy to tell what level it is on, as i'm pretty sure it says quite clearly in the mw2 party your NAT status.

Also, i don't know if this has helped anybody else.. but i used to do the old network troubleshooter when i couldn't join anybody back in the days of halo 2 and that always worked for me and my friends.. give that a go aswell.. should also give you an idea of what his NAT is set to.
