But indeed you are right ... NAND has to match the CPU for the CPU-key and not for the 1BL (both located on the cpu).

Even with this posted, I am still getting phone calls on my private toll-free cell about if I could unban people, and tons of people MSNing me, asking "why?" "how?" "whynot?".

And I see even strange ads on Craigslist around the country from people claiming then can unban you for $30.

And even other people, claiming all they need is to unmod their drive, or switch the dvd drive.

Totally silly.

And makes it even worse when you have bad internet blogs like this one:

when the general press gets involved it always ends up like a big mess.
It makes u wonder ... if they write other articles about stuff you don't know so much about ... do they also make so many mistakes? Scary.

wow after reading that i just lost my faith in humanity, that has got to be by far the dumbest article i have ever read, wait sorry the only one worse was the one about AMD being a cheap chinese clone of an intel processor and accusing alternative os's to windows as "hacker tools", but that one is damn close

Ok, I understand xbox live, but what about somehow fixing the "can't install to hard drive" and "corrupted profile" cripple? It seems there's got to be some sort of software mod to allow you to save your games again, since you can take your HD off and put on an unban box and it works fine. Can someone explain this to me?

nice idea, i also have some rrod board hanging around. but i dont now if they are banned or not. i dont have the tools to swap it. but i going to do some calls to some companies, i wonder what they charge to do this,
only im afraid that the costs of doing this will be higher then buying a new console.
