Can you spoof using stock firmware?  Even if you can, if the goal is to get back to stock, that's not exactly stock.

This service is temporarily unavailable. Please try back again later.

Is this the equivalent of the 54420 error, or is the service actually down right now?

 I would say you're on the list to be banned. If you value the HDD playing of games then don't go back on live or you'll be gone. If you know how to read/write your nand then do a readof it, go on line, get banned and then rewrite your nand to get back the HDD install capability

How's that even possible? How does one even register the same serial..


And yes it probably means that you are flagged or on the way to be banned, in their banwave FAQ they clearly state that people that are banned are NOT able to send in their consoles for repair, even for a FEE when your warranty is expired.

It's up on Microsofts website somewhere and I did read it.

Well that sucks, i kinda dont want to get banned lol. Wither i stay online, or stay offline, ill still get banned right?


And thats waht doesnt make sense. It allowed me to register my xbox twice. Both ahve different warranties. Both are Pro bundles, but i have an Elite.


Weird huh?

Well whatta ya know... I'm in the US and have been using the 'United States' geographic setting (for obvious reasons).  The last 3 days I've not only been getting a 54420 error when trying to initiate a repair, but when I click on "My Information" it immediately fails to a "404" error page.

I switched to "United Kingdom" and now have full functionality and can completely submit a repair for a console I thought was banned days ago.

I only wonder if I was on enough on live yesterday with 8+ hours of connection on stock FW to be unflagged, I guess time will tell, hopefully the status changes in 12 hours or so on the website repair page..

Alright i see the mistake. Both are very similar ID's but one number difference. Either way, the one that is actually mine gets 54420 on the US website, but the Canda one (i live in Canada) allows me to ahve a repair status.

How do i unregister a console? lol

Just tested 10 US unmodified consoles and none of them got the 54420 error. My 2 ban suspected consoles both got 54420. This error must be attributed to a flagged console; if not banned already. I'll try reverting one of my two consoles to OFW and will keep you guys updated.

Just got 2 friends with unmodified consoles - the US site works for them!

So seems like the error does mean at least a flag.

My console is out of warranty (red bullet) and I got 54420.  Due the fact that my console is out of warranty can I get this error regulary ?
