in other news, i had been playing dj hero (retail disc, not a backup) every day since the ban wave started, as well as using the media center extender functionality. my system held out perfectly fine throughout the wave up until tonight.

tonight, i powered on my system, it logged into live as normal, i took dj hero out of the system, put a retail command and conquer 3 into the system. a few seconds after the tray closed (before i even got to start the game, and before the disc image got replaced with an actual image), my system disconnected from live, and when i tried to reconnect it said i was banned.

My friends unbanned limited edition Halo 3 console is still unbanned, but his answers to the above questions are the same as mine (apart from console age obviously, and he is using ix1.6 on a TS-H943A).

An update of this post, is that my friend logged into xbox live again yesterday and was still not banned. He is running an earlier drive which as far as I know is not compatible with the AP 2.5, so I'm leaning towards this to be honest at the moment.

Received my second ban a couple days ago. My first console was a casualty of the days when we all thought mulleter was enough to keep you safe. After that I got a Jasper and was as careful as I could possibly be with it.

Everything goes through autofix level 3 and I won't play anything until it's abgx verified.
edit: When I got the new console I made it a point to run all of my backup discs through abgx and throw out anything with minor errors that are theoretically fine with newer firmwares, such as 359 angles or bad splitvids. I also threw out anything that I remembered burning prior to release. Nothing's been run on this system that hasn't checked out with abgx 100%.
