Yes, played a certain new fighting game that is wave4, with the activate.iso. I played like 5-7 matches online. It was fully patched with ABGX to the point where everything PASSED (including "Stealth check," all CRCs, etc.), and it said "Verification was successful."

Yes, only with one wave4 at first. But AFTER being banned today, I used it to boot a certain newly released wave4 FPS just for a second, because I was afraid that all future games would demand updates, and that I wouldn't be able to play them because banned consoles can't connect to live. Then I remembered that they only prompt you to update for games when you're connected to Xbox Live.

Yes. I typically leave it at Level 2. However, if verification fails or stealth is uncertain (or something like that, I forget), then I switch to Level 3 and try again. Also, if this means anything to whomever reads this, I don't burn games until after the release date, when all the verification files (or whatever) is available in the abgx database.

I think after the update. I just turned my 360 on today (11/14/09) for the first time in a week. The last time my 360 was on was (11/9/09). That day, I signed on for fun, but instead of playing anything, I streamed media from my PC. The last time I played an Xbox 360 game (didn't PLAY online matches, but only signed onto Live) was 11/7/09 when I played a certain wave3 game that involves superheros joined together in groups of four at-a-time. When I first played that newly released fighting game (released on Oct 27) a few days after it came out, they made me do one of those quick updates before playing it. Then immediately after that quick update, they (meaning Xbox Live) made me do a bigger update (took maybe 10 minutes to complete). That's the same day I played a few online matches of that fighting game. Several days after that, my 360 was still fine (meaning not banned).

2005, a Xenon revision, but was repaired in Spring of 2009. Microsoft repair people put in new fans and cooling stuff, so I guess now it's an Opus revision.

I had a feeling this was inevitable  
So... I've re-flashed another older console back to stock (it's been used MANY a time to flash other consoles thus e64 would have been tripped on it) This console has been offline for a while
I have a feeling they have actually found a way to detect FW either that or it's e64 by my estimates.
It seems to be tied in w/ new update so I flashed backto stock before letting it get update and so far this one hasn't been banned allthough it will take at least a week to find-out (I will know one way or another) I did stuff up in that when the new update went thru on my new test console I forgot to plug in the SATA cable btwn MB and ODD    My test may be imperfect but it MAY prove that it's NOT E64 for sure perhaps.
PS: Those ppl worried about HDD locking etc.. NONE of this happend to me (I just am banned from online from that console) I will keep you all posted

Console must have been flagged a while back even though it wasn't banned right on the spot. The last time I played (early November), I wasn't banned. I didn't play it for at least a week, hoping things would settle down and a solution would be found. Then, with more considerations pointing towards the firmware, I flashed back the original firmware (powered the drive with a Connectivity Kit, not with the XBOX this time), hoping I'd be fine upon returning on Live since my firmware was back to the original. I guess I was wrong ... I'm glad I did a hard disk backup with Xplorer360 before going on Live!
